we just installed bugzilla and have entered smtpserver and now email sending after bug entry gives an error and no emial is sent. have spoken with out email service and they say we need ssl enabled but we don't see a how to do this on bugzilla. can any one help?
When I run checksetup.pl on my new bugzilla 3.2.2 install I get this error- SESSION variable 'max_allowed_packet' is read only. Use SET GLOBAL to assign the value and my install stops there. Does anyone know how to fix this? MYSQL 5.1 (latest download) and Bugzilla 3.2.2
I've got a new bugzilla install that I would like to move bugs from my old bugzilla install to. It seems I can use mysqldump to accomplish a full db copy but I'm only interested in moving one product's bugs. Is it possible to only move a specific product's bugs to my new bugzilla install?
I made a test upgrade from bugzilla v3.2.5 to the latest 3.4.4. The upgrade went fine but I really do not like the large ugly pictures (file a bug, search and login) on the main pages. Is there any easy way to restore the bugzilla look on the login and index pages to the one used in 3.2 version?
I have a need to have 2 separate bugzilla databases due to export compliance. DB1 will need to be accessible by all bugzilla users while DB2 will need to be accessible for only a handful of users. Is this possible with one bugzilla install using 2 databases or will I need 2 different bugzilla installations?
