Hi CDT users, I am a java programming wishing to improve my C++ but am having trouble setting up my own private includes and Libraries in CDT. So what is the best way to do this?
I got source code of a library and make it. Now i have some *.so files. I want to add them(*.so files) to a new project and use them. How can i add them to new project via Eclipse?
I have tried to download the source code for CDT 6.0 from CVS repository. But It downloads the latest version i.e. CDT 7.0. I need CDT 6.0 source code for my development work. Could anyone help me out?
How can I change output file name in CDT project? By default, it is the same as the project name: Invoking: GCC C++ Linker g++ -o"OutputFileName" ... I want to change -o switch value to something else.

Hello. There are no toolchains listed in eclipse when I create a new project even though the path contains "C:cygwin;C:cygwinbin" and GCC,G++, and GDB are installed. What is wrong?
1) What is the default compiler for the CDT? 1.5) Does the CDT come with a compiler and Makefile? 2) Where does the CDT look to find the compiler (ubuntu 9.10)? 3) How do I tell it where to look?
In a workspace containing several projects, how can I switch between Debug and Release configurations for all projects? Currently I change configuration for every project, this in not convenient.
